There are a whole bunch of steak places in Nashville... But Bobs is one of my favorites because while it's sufficiently fancy for a business meal, I've taken my two boys there before heading over to the Bridgestone Arena... And they're super accommodating to locals just grabbing steak, burgers, and fries before a game too. I've always liked the complementary lightly brined veg out on the table, the steaks are always well executed...have not heard of an issue in the many times I've been there, the bar is great, and the bread pudding (easily my favorite dessert there) is one of my favorites on the planet. I have no idea how much fairy dust they sprinkle over that dessert... But if you go, you really need to try it. Salads are all fine, they make massive perfect onion rings which my boys love... a bit more special than fries there in my view. Finally, the Omni hotel is an island of sanity in the downtown area. There are other restaurants on property that are great too, valet is easy to get in and out of though a touch expensive - but comp'd if you're having dinner at Bob's.

There used to be a Bob's near me but it has since closed. It was a great place to get a steak. Had a medium rare boneless ribeye steak here which was so good. Mateo provided us with excellent service.

Absolutely love this place. You have to try the wagyu tomahawk steak and it can feed three moderate steak eaters. Their sides and apps are perfectly prepared and their wine selection is great. The service is friendly and informative. A must try!

Great food for my client and I, my filet was done perfectly. Weird presentation with a giant carrot that was 1-1.5" thick and inconsistently cooked. Mashed potatoes were ok. Service was very good, pricing was inordinately expensive and the specials were pushed pretty hard. It's a classic dimly lit steak house. Loud and tightly packed main dining room. The convenience of having a meeting spot in the hotel vs cost is a tough thing to balance out.

So like most prime steak houses the food was very good. The salads were good, wedge and Caesar. They have signature pickles on the table with were a nice add. They had a mix of sweet dill flavor. My ribeye was cooked nicely, as was the New York strip. My wife's filet was a little oddly cooked. She asked for well done (I know ) but it had a strip of medium on one side. We are not sure how this happened as 90% was well done and it wasn't in the middle. A mystery. We thought the smashed potatoes were the best of the starches. The skillet potatoes were the worst in my opinion. I was hoping for something great but it was the gravy that let me down. It was bland and tasted off. The creamed corn was fine. I found it hard to eat, as it was very rich and thick, probably made with heavy cream. Desert was set to go. The chocolate cake was huge and they told me it was good. Plenty for at least 3 people. The cheesecake was a let down but I am used to New York cheesecake.

It's been a while since I've been to Bob's and I'm sad that it took me this long to go back. Located in the Omni, Bob's Steakhouse has once again served me one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Before I get to the reviews, I want to call out my waitress Caitlyn. I'm pretty sure I spelled it wrong, but she was fantastic. Ever attentive, polite, and gave the best service! Our table started off with the appetizer specials, Japanese A5 Wagyu and Oysters Rockefeller. Priced per ounce at 35$ per ounce, my party opted for 7 ounces of that beautiful A5 Wagyu and it even came with a certificate of authenticity. The A5 Wagyu was seared and cooked to a perfect medium rare and cut in seven slices. The steak was so amazingly tender, buttery, and rich. Each bite melted in your mouth in a way one only imagine. The oysters were amazing as well. Cooked to perfection with a nice melty crust of cheese, breading, and herbs. They weren't "soggy/watery" at all that sometimes happens to cooked oysters. Creamy and meaty with just the right amount of salinity, these appetizers kicked off the start of an amazing meal. I had drinks earlier that night, so I had to settle for a mocktail. By suggestion of Caitlyn, I chose The Big Carrot, which I'm told is their most popular mocktail. Carrot juice with the tang and flavors of lemon and tangerines, accompanied with a bite and carbonation of ginger beer. It was so good, I ended up having two. Next was my gigantic Wedge Salad, drenched in Bleu cheese dressing and an ample amount of bacon crumbles. The Bleu cheese was so pungent and tangy but in a good way. The salad was nearly perfect. I just wish there were more tomatoes that came with it. For my entree, I chose the glorious 22 ounce Prime "Côte de Boeuf" Bone-In Ribeye, paired with a glazed carrot, and smashed potatoes. As an additional side, we ordered sautéed mushrooms. The sides were really great, everything from the delicious mushrooms, to that sweet, giant glazed carrot, and the smooth smashed potatoes. I'll be honest though, I didn't eat a lot of the sides because I was so focused on the ribeye. That ribeye was the textbook definition of a perfectly cooked steak. It had a crunchy, crusty, outer sear that was counterbalanced by the most flavorful, tender, and beefy bites. There was just the right ratio of fat to meat. Every bite was glorious. I finished the meal off with Bob's Key Lime Pie. That too didn't last long. A buttery Nilla water crust was topped with an ultra tart lime custard and a dollop of whipped cream. Bob's Steak & Chop definitely wins the award for one of the best fancy meals I've had in Nashville. It's not cheap by any means but if you decide to visit, just know everything about Bob's will be memorable.

That carrot tho! Fancy high end steakhouse. Always consistent, and delicious. The surf and turf special with salmon and filet was so yummy. B sure to save room for dessert. The seating and ambiance are on point. They can accommodate large groups and parties!!

I can honestly say the service at this steakhouse was even better than the food, which is even harder to believe because everything I tasted was second to none. I can't recommend this place enough. Do yourself a favor and visit this location sooner than later. Bone in rib-eye with the smashed potatoes.... WOW!!!
